Access to Torr's private network allows you to exchange ideas and collaborate in a variety of formats. Members can create virtual symposiums to open up discussion, as well as participate in less formal venues that help nurture today's amateur scholars in a friendly environment.
Torr also moderates vigorous debate competitions throughout the year, as well as competitions in chess, go, and other high-level thinking games and puzzles. There's truly something for everyone at Torr.
One of the more popular pastimes for members is our speed trivia competition called The Bends™, where members compete in a grueling, no-holds barred trivia pressure cooker, where only the strong survive. The Bends starts hard and only gets harder-and then the nitrogen bubbles really start to form. Are you smart enough to withstand the pressure, or will you succumb to the bends?
